The Sabbath before Pesach is called Sabbath HaGadol: “The Great Sabbath.” This is a great study of our “flesh nature” being a living sacrifice, offered up to Yahweh as His Witness and Bride. The actual understanding of Korban (Offering) is to be in His presence - “to come near." It’s all about being drawn closer to HIM. It’s coming up; Are you ready??
A Few Hebrew Definitions
Olah—Elevation/Burnt, H5930 עלה: To ascend, go up for someone else—it sanctifies you.
Minchah— Meal, H4503 מנחה: A tribute to someone, to bless them—it sanctifies possessions.
Shelemim/Shalom—Peace, H8002 שלם: Give away your peace-Yeshua’s love. It will be given to you.
Chata—Sin, H2398 חטאת: Miss the mark, go astray, take the detours away from HIS Pathway.
Asham—Trespass/Guilt, H817 אשם: Purify from unclean, redemption. Walking in realms of unclean
Fire, H784 אש esh: Fire, flames, supernatural through Yahweh; refers to Judgment.
Altar, H4196 מזבח miz-bay'-akh: Place of status change, life to death to life.
Sanctify, H6942 קדש qadash/kadash: To consecrate, sanctify, holy, sanctified, separate unto HIM. (This is the root word for Kadosh.)
Called (Leviticus 1:1), H7121 קרא qara: To be called, call out, chosen, summoned, named— Yahweh has Called You, chosen YOU and given you a new name! My Sheep (not Lambs) know my voice—praise Yahweh and bless HIM for His faithfulness (emunah) to you. (See John 15:16) Just like He Called Out Moshe, He is calling back HIS bride.
